Get Your Game On!

Introducing the Watercrown Productions Arcade!
That’s right…I’m not only an artist, a programmer and a translator, I’m now officially a game designer. These past few weeks toying with Flash (with the help of some experts in the field) have taught me two important things:
1. Object-oriented programming is pure awesomeness.
2. Getting little targeting cursors to materialize between asteroids precisely where you want them is a lot harder than it sounds.
At any rate, my first project, a little arcade game called Hyper Collider, is now (hopefully) ready for prime time. It’s probably not everyone’s cup of tea: the finished product is a little on the easy side, even after the difficulty ramps up, but hopefully the retro visuals will make up for it.
Enjoy, one and all.
Catastrophe? Not quite.

A bit late, but I’ve updated the Structure Deck Marik list on the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters OCG Structure Deck Card Listing page to use the official “Malevolent Catastrophe” name instead of “Calamity of the Wicked”.
Jury’s still out on “Viser Des”, but I’ll keep you posted.
No, John! You are the demons!

Apologies for no Sylvanian or Breath of Fire-ian updates in the last eight months. If you know where to look, you’re already up-to-date.
Inspired by the hilariously bad “Repercussions of Evil” Doom fanfic, I’ve made my own “Dramatic Version” (using the term “dramatic” loosely). Over-the-top voices and At Doom’s Gate ahoy.
Check it out here, or follow the link to the left. Enjoy.

Announcing the newest addition to the family: the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters OCG Structure Deck Card Listing. Because I care.

If Pushing Doesn’t Work…

A while back, I translated the text in the “Doa ga Hirakanai, Buchiyaburou” animated GIFs. Now you can view both parts of “If The Door Won’t Open, Break It Down” entirely in English (not much of a stretch, as there are exactly three pieces of Japanese text between them, though the joke is still funny) here on my website.
Check it out on the sidebar, or below.

(A hint for others using Googlepages to display animated GIFs: Googlepages will attempt to butcher anything you upload. Make sure you disable image optimization under Site Settings, and Edit HTML on the field they’re displayed in to make sure your originals are shown instead of the .jpg thumbnails Googlepages will generate.)
