In this chapter, the battle of wits comes to a head as Akiyama puts his “foolproof plan” into motion while Yokoya explains his scheme to identify the infected in his group. Everything seems to be going according to plan for Yokoya, but when Akiyama makes his move, it turns the entire game on its head.

Thanks you! I love this manga alot, and for a speedy scanlation! It’s nice to know you’re passionate about LG, and I’ll be looking forward to your releases from now on. It always peeves me to know LG isn’t getting the popularity it deserves. Everytime Akiyama does something smart, I’m always sitting at my laptop with a gaping mouth. Although this chapter made me ‘oooo’…

Yeah…perhaps it’s for the best overall that Cityshrimp only saw Liar Game as a hobby. I know I can be somewhat…vitriolic, shall we say…but I’m glad that Cityshrimp passed the torch on amiable terms.
At any rate, #100’s in the pipeline as we speak. More psychology, more scheming and counter-scheming…in short, good stuff. :3 njt also vetted my work on chapter #98 and pointed out some glitches in it; I’ll see if I can fix those problems soon.

Why didn’t I think of that!? I knew that Yokoya could check the status of each of them in order to find out who is Infected, and I knew they didn’t NEED to contact with the last one if the first two comes out normal, but somehow it escaped me that they WOULDN’T contact him. Yokoya is incredible!
Anyway, now the one who were Infected is Normal, so he can just come up front at this point without risking anything. Akiyama hasn’t stopped anything, it seems!
Also, didn’t Yokoya claim the Activate button doesn’t do anything if you are Normal? If that is the case, then why don’t they all just press the Activate button, and only the Infected will be affected?

Sure, if you are normal and you activate the button nothing happens, what leaves as we fatty or bangs being +3, and the rest +5. If this +3 wants to become +5 he must contact two people, for example 4 eyes and nao. Could it be that the ones closed are akiyama,akagi,muscle and grease? You know, helping without taking any risk. T’hat’s what I think, but surely yokoya will do something to avoid nao contacting them.

Thank you for doing these. And I definitely have noticed a jump in quality in the translation, even before I realized that 98 had been done by a different group. The extra time and effort that’s put into checking the translation hasn’t been lost on everyone.

It’s coming. The guy who checks my chapters probably has quite a backlog he’s going through.
On the upside, #101 is done as well, so the two should be released simultaneously. Fun times!

I love you for translating LG. I can more or less read them in jap but it’s not quite the same, I control English much more 😛 I’m looking forward to the chairs game, it’s gonna be awesome and the 3 of them are going to be together again + new interesting players like the old man 🙂
